About Money Plant
Money Plant, botanically Epipremnum aureum and also called golden pothos, is one of the most common houseplants in Pakistan. It has glossy, heart-shaped leaves, usually green with golden-yellow marbling. It grows as a vine that can trail from a hanging pot, climb a support or spread along a shelf. It fits easily into most homes and offices.
Why Choose Money Plant?
- Very forgiving, and a good first plant for beginners
- Grows in potting soil or in a jar of water
- Trailing vines suit hanging baskets, shelves and moss poles
- Copes with medium and lower light
- Easy to propagate from stem cuttings
Where to Keep Money Plant
It suits a living room, bedroom, kitchen shelf, office desk or a bright spot near a window. It also does well on a shaded balcony or covered patio. Avoid strong afternoon sun, which can scorch the leaves. Keep it away from pets, as the leaves can cause mouth irritation if chewed.
